In recent weeks I have been a bit more involved with software in processing. It is a bit difficult, mentally, to make the change from post processing in film to that of digital. I find that where I might have worked for hours on a print, to do it in mere seconds on a computer almost seems to be cheating. Techniques that were either unfordable or technically complicated seem now almost too easy, despite the blessings of digital.
I was a bit upset, when something recently took a good minute to render. Lost track of the fact it would have taken weeks and big money to do in film.
